Timber grew up on her family's farm in Gruver, TX. She received her BS in Environmental Science at ACU before completing a master’s degree at West Texas A&M University. Timber "came home" to Abilene where, for the last nine years, she has assisted local farmers apply for government programs as a Program Analyst at the USDA Farm Service Agency in Taylor and Callahan Counties.
Timber tries to live Habitat for Humanity’s mission of “putting God’s love into action.” She is a member of the Abilene Junior League, Highland Church of Christ, Community Foundation of Abilene, Big Country Master Gardeners, and Abilene Young Professionals. Timber’s heart for helping others has led her to medical and agricultural mission trips to Haiti and Honduras. In her spare time, you can find Timber gardening, crafting, adventuring outdoors, watching movies at the Paramount, drinking coffee at Monk’s, reading at the Abilene Public Library, or listening to live music. On October 4th (the day after her birthday!), you will find her at one of the best parties she’s ever been to!
